OPEN CAPTIONING & SUBTITLING
Open captions look identical to closed captions but are burned into the videotape and are a permanent part of the picture. They cannot be turned on or off and do not require the use of a decoder. Open captions can be produced as Pop-On or Roll-Up caption styles. Subtitles are in Pop-On style only. The Process: 1) You send us a VHS with burned in time code. Include a script if you have one or we can provide transcription services for you. 2) You will receive your original master and a copy of the master with captions encoded on the format requested. |
